Found in the deep oceans worldwide, the Dumbo Octopus lives deeper than any other known octopus — sometimes over 7,000 meters below the surface. It gets its name from the two large, ear-like fins on either side of its mantle, which it flaps gently to propel itself through the water in a motion that is, as the gifs below show, one of the most endearing things in the deep ocean!
