Ethiopian Wolf
(Canis simensis)

Found only in the highlands of Ethiopia, the Ethiopian Wolf is the rarest canid in the world. While it is primarily a rodent hunter, it has been documented repeatedly visiting Ethiopian Red Hot Poker flowers to feed on nectar, and carries pollen on its muzzle from flower to flower as it goes. It is one of the only large carnivores in the world known to act as a pollinator, a role nobody expected a wolf to fill!
