Flamboyant Cuttlefish

Found in the shallow tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific, the Flamboyant Cuttlefish is the only cuttlefish known to walk along the seafloor using its fins and tentacles rather than swimming — and it does so while putting on one of the most vivid color displays in the animal kingdom, rippling waves of yellow, red, brown, and white across its skin. It is also the only known cuttlefish whose flesh is toxic, making its flamboyance a genuine warning rather than mere vanity!
