Heterodontosaurus
(Heterodontosaurus tucki)

Living during the Early Jurassic period, Heterodontosaurus was a small, swift dinosaur with a dental arrangement unlike any other — its name means "different-toothed lizard," reflecting the fact that it had three distinct types of teeth in the same mouth, including sharp frontal incisors for nipping, prominent tusk-like canines, and flat chisel-shaped cheek teeth for grinding. It is thought to have been omnivorous, and its unusual teeth have made it one of the more hotly debated dinosaurs among palaeontologists!
