Lungfish
(Varies by Species)

Found in freshwater systems across Africa, South America, and Australia, the Lungfish, as its name suggests, breathes air using a primitive lung rather than relying solely on gills. Some African species can survive complete drought by burrowing into the mud and encasing themselves in a mucus cocoon, entering a state of dormancy for years at a time!
