Sacabambaspis
(Sacabambaspis janvieri)

Living during the Ordovician period, Sacabambaspis had a broad, flattened head encased in a solid horseshoe-shaped shield of bone, with two small eyes perched almost comically close together on top, and a wide, downward-facing mouth underneath that gave it a permanently bewildered expression!
