Tripodfish

Found on the deep ocean floor worldwide, the Tripod Fish uses three elongated fin rays — two from its tail and one from its belly — to prop itself up above the sediment and face into the current, waiting for food particles to drift into its outstretched pectoral fins. It is functionally blind, relying entirely on touch and current sensing to feed.
