Velvet Worm
(Varies by Species)
Found in tropical and subtropical forests worldwide, the Velvet Worm hunts by firing streams of fast-hardening sticky slime from nozzles on both sides of its head, entangling prey almost instantly.
Despite its worm-like appearance it is more closely related to arthropods than true worms, and the slime it produces is being studied for potential applications in biodegradable adhesives!
