Arabian Sand Boa

Designation: Snake
Habitat: It is endemic to the Arabian Peninsula and Iran.
Diet: It feeds on short-fingered geckos, rock geckos, and worm lizards.
Size: It is fairly small for a snake at around 35cm (15m) in length.
Lifecycle: Around 10 to 15 years.
Specialized Functions

While its easy to make fun of its eyes... The reason why they are on the top of its head is because this snake is a burrower! It spends its days buried in the sand with its eyes projecting ready to pounce on prey!
