Bay Duiker
(Cephalophus dorsalis)
Found in the rainforests of West and Central Africa, the Bay Duiker is a small, reddish-brown forest antelope that is surprisingly elusive despite its vivid colouring.
What makes it particularly interesting is its unusually varied diet for an antelope — alongside plant matter it will readily eat insects, birds, and even carrion, making it one of the more opportunistic members of its family!
