Found in coastal waters across the world, the Common Octopus is one of the most intelligent invertebrates on the planet — capable of solving puzzles, opening jars, recognizing individual human faces, and even using tools. They are also masters of camouflage, able to change both colour and skin texture almost instantly, and can release a cloud of ink to confuse and disorient predators while they escape!
