Dunkleosteus

Roaming the ancient oceans, Dunkleosteus was one of the most formidable predators ever to have lived in the sea. It had no teeth — instead its jaws were made of two interlocking blades of solid bone that self-sharpened as they ground against each other — producing one of the most powerful bites ever measured in any animal. It could also open its jaws in milliseconds, creating a suction effect that dragged prey straight into its mouth before it had a chance to react.
