Gharial

Gharial
(Gavialis gangeticus)

Found in parts of India and Nepal, the Gharial is neither a Crocodile nor an Alligator, instead it's one of their strange cousins! Its name comes from the word 'ghara', a traditional Indian pot that the end of its snout resembles. This "bulb" is only found on male Gharials and can be used to make a hissing sound that can be heard 75 meters away!

Its snout is also especially equipped to hunt fish because its length and width reduces drag when snapping (unlike its cousins) and 110 sharp, interlocking teeth surely helps too!
