Gharial
(Gavialis gangeticus)
Native parts of India and Nepal.
Ranges from 2.6 - 6m (8ft 6in - 19ft 8in) in length.
Its long snout is especially equip to hunt Fish. Also feed on small Crustaceans, Softshell Turtles, and Stomach Stones. Young eat Insects, Tadpoles, small Fish, and Frogs.
Lives for around 40 - 60 years.
