Groove-Billed Ani
(Crotophaga sulcirostris)

From south Texas and Mexico to Central America and parts of South America, the Groove-Billed Ani was included simply because... it looks pretty cool! Because of the grooves running along its bill (or beak), when its mouth is closed it looks like a single seamless beak. Its tail is also quite twitchy and flips often, possibly to startle insects out of their hiding places!
