Immortal Jellyfish
(Turritopsis dohrnii)
Found all over the world from temperate to tropical waters.
Has a maximum diameter of about 4.5mm (0.18in)
Feeds on Plankton, Fish Eggs and small Mollusks.
Biological Immortality.
This species of Jellyfish have the ability to, when facing adversity, to reverse its lifecycle converting back into a polyp. This works on a cellular level too, resetting their own cellular aging practically making this Jellyfish immortal. Of course, this doesn't stop it from being eaten which they can't come back from...
