Roan Antelope
(Hippotragus equinus)

Found across the savannahs of sub-Saharan Africa, the Roan Antelope is one of the largest antelopes on the continent, second only to the Giant Eland in size. 

It is a notably aggressive defender and has been documented successfully fighting off lions — which is not something most antelopes can claim!
