Stiletto Snake

Designation: Venomous Snake

Habitat: It is mostly found in Africa with a limited distribution in the Middle East.

Diet: Feeds on frogs and small mammals but their main diet consists of burrowing reptiles found in old termite mounds.

Size: Ranges from 30 to 50cm (12 to 20in) in length though it varies based on species.

Lifecycle: Reports indicate a life cycle of around 12 to 20 years.
