Designation: Mustelid
Habitat: Its native to Eurasia and the northern regions of North America. Was also introduced in New Zealand.
Diet: Feeds predominately on mouse-like rodents, but sometimes birds, fish, herptiles, insects, and even larger mammals.
Size: Varies but usually ranges from 170 to 325 mm (6.7 to 12.8 in) in body length, not including its tail.
Lifecycle: Reports indicate a life cycle of around 12 to 20 years.

Stoats are quite opportunistic creatures! They have been found preying on a few creatures larger than themselves!
